80 SCALE MESSAGE
COACH G, FOUNDER OF 80 SCALE
Having grown up in Venezuela and coming to the U.S to play college and professional baseball, I have learned the importance of passion and resilience in any endeavor I take. Outside the field, in 2014, I earned my Bachelor’s in Business Management and International Business degree from Marshall University while being a student-athlete. In 2021, I earned a Certification in Mastering Negotiation and Influence at MIT Sloan School of Management Executive Education. Currently, I am a graduate student at Georgetown University pursuing a Master’s degree in Sports Industry Management. As a former college and professional baseball player, I know what it takes to get recruited for college and professional baseball. In the last 3 years, I have been involved in the operations of academies in Dominican Republic & Venezuela as an advisor and implementing development programs for future Latin prospects giving them the right preparation to excel in front MLB organizations. Currently, I am the Director of the Mid-Atlantic Region of Wow Factor G’s Lions Baseball Organization where I create and implement the right exposure and baseball development programs for our teams. Additionally, I am honored to serve as a scout and coach for USA Baseball Northeast NTIS achieving a gold medal as head coach at USA Baseball NTIS competition.
From my nine years of experience in this industry, I have helped over 70 high school baseball players get recruited to college baseball. In addition, I have been providing an off-season development and training program for professional players, including MLB & MiLB prospects such as Trey Lipscomb (Nationals – MLB), James Wood (Nationals – AAA), James Triantos (Cubs – AA), Errol Robinson (Orioles – AAA), Corey Rosier (Boston – AAA), Carlos Amaya (Oakland – A+) and others.
Throughout my life, baseball has been central to my personal and professional development. In my pursuit to play professional baseball, I have acquired resilience, persistence, and work ethic. My goal as a CEO & Leader of Player Development is to empower my players and organizations to excel. With my expertise, I aspire to make “80 Scale” the premier facility for baseball development and training in the DMV area.
